PORK CHOPS

kg pork loin, sliced 1cm thick and marinated with 1 tbsp pepper, 2 tbsp light soya sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil and 3 eggs for 10 mins

g cream crackers, finely ground

ml oil

Gravy:

ml oil

tbsp butter

onions, sliced into rings

tbsp dark soya sauce

chicken stock cube

tbsp pepper

tbsp plain flour

ml water

g green peas

Take the marinated pork loins and cover each with the ground cream crackers. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the pork loins till golden brown. Drain and set aside.

To make the gravy: Heat the oil and butter in a wok. Add the onions, soya sauce, chicken stock cube and pepper. Then add the flour. As the flour becomes a paste, add the water. When it simmers, add the green peas and remove from heat.

Place the fried pork loins on a plate and pour the gravy over.

Serve hot.
